What Did United Way’s Susan Hay Patrick Know About The LifeGuard Group And When Did She Know It? – by Travis Mateer

At one point during my decade-long stint working in Missoula’s non-profit sector, both of the smiling faces above would have smiled when talking about me and the program I led the charge on: the Poverello’s Homeless Outreach Program. However, any goodwill that existed quickly evaporated once we deviated on the issue of whether or not the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office should have the power to euthanize someone without proper familial notification.

A few days ago I wasn’t legally allowed to publicly write ANYTHING criticizing United Way of Missoula County. This seeming anti-Constitutional legal constraint was part of a plea deal I was compelled to take in order to avoid more serious charges, which local law enforcement was actively helping the County Attorney’s Office build against me.

After 48 hours in jail, two mental health assessments, six months of responding to every demand for urine, and limitations on my free speech from a district court judge more interested in bathrooms than the Constitution, I’m finally free to write the post about the LifeGuard Group that I’ve been waiting to write since a very lengthy article came out in the Missoulian several weeks ago.

The woman who fled the “safe house” run by a non-profit created by the Chaplain of the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office, Lowell Hochhalter, originally reached out to me because of articles like this one, which I wrote last year hoping legacy media would step up and help expose this dangerously inept non-profit with a direct financial connection to Montana’s Governor, Greg Gianforte.

When the victim of human trafficking reached out to me, I knew my legal constraints limited what I could write about, so I directed her to someone who actually gets a paycheck for reporting. Why is this important? Because the LifeGuard Group doesn’t just run a shady “safe house” for victims of human trafficking, they also operate the anti-trafficking hotline for THE ENTIRE STATE. Here’s an excerpt from the Missoulian article:

The group has a big stake in fighting human trafficking in Montana. In addition to operating a safe house, the organization runs the state’s human trafficking hotline, coordinates missing persons searches and provides educational trainings to law enforcement, schools and more. The organization has been publicly lauded by Gov. Greg Gianforte and Attorney General Austin Knudsen, both of whom are listed as partners on the LifeGuard Group’s website.

After this context is provided the article shifts to “Marcy’s” claims about how you have to have an appreciation for demons if you want these “Christians” to help you.

Marcy, who asked that her legal name not be used due to safety reasons, told the Missoulian in multiple interviews that the ranch left her worse off than when she arrived. She alleged the way the LifeGuard Group incorporated religion into it’s rehabilitation services bordered on emotional and spiritual abuse.

“You have to think exactly the same way they think. It’s like a group think. It’s like a cult.” Marcy said. “If you don’t submit to them or believe in demons or whatever else they want you to believe, all of the sudden you are a criminal in their eyes.”

Marcy is one of at least four women and two children to leave the ranch and seek other services since it opened to survivors in 2023, officials from the Missoula YWCA’s shelter confirmed to the Missoulian.

So, when did the Executive Director of United Way of Missoula, Susan Hay Patrick, know there were serious accusations against this non-profit supported by the Republican Governor of Montana? Was it before this 2024 picture she took with Gianforte and his wife?

The answer is YES, Susan Hay Patrick absolutely knew about serious accusations regarding the LifeGuard Group as early as January 1st, 2023, when I published an anonymous letter from someone Susan Hay Patrick knows quite well. Here’s the letter:

For those who know that Susan Hay Patrick leans left when it comes to her preferred political party, I have some difficult news for you: Montana is run by a uni-party of money, but if you point this out it will only get you ostracized from almost everyone.

For example, establishment Republicans in Montana are busy putting down a minor insurrection of Rhino removers who don’t seem to understand how the uni-party works. Well, it works by taking figures who might criticize them from the right, like Aaron Flint, and giving his wife a Gubernatorial appointment that I consider a bribe:

Power players in the state’s Republican Party and Montana’s congressional delegates are among those who have signed a letter in support of Jessica Flint, a controversial appointee to the Criminal Justice Oversight Council.

The gubernatorial appointment, which deals with civil rights for incarcerated prisoners, has drawn the ire of progressives in the state for removing representatives from the American Civil Liberties Union, who previously sat on the council.

Flint works for Alliance Defending Freedom, a Christian legal advocacy organization.

This aligns with another suspect move by the Attorney General, Austin Knudsen, who recently appointed the former Missoula under-Sheriff, Jason Johnson, to serve as a state-wide Chaplain. And who did Jason work under? The former DEMOCRAT Sheriff, T.J. McDermott. This makes Aaron Flint’s appreciation of Ellie Boldman a little more understandable.

If you don’t like having a corrupt uni-party giving each other bipartisan handjobs, tough shit, because I don’t see a state this big and sparsely populated being capable of getting relevant information in a timely manner to voters in order for the electorate to be informed about this vast corruption, so people will just keep voting for their respective parties and if they try holding these corrupt pieces of shit accountable, the uni-party will try to destroy you like it tried to destroy me.

I hope Susan Hay Patrick appreciates my resolve to continue exposing her negative influence on this community because I am NOT going to stop until she is no longer the director of United Way. In fact, the six month forced hiatus has only made me MORE RESOLUTE in my efforts to leverage what I know about the Homeless Industrial Complex in order to expose the despicable creatures who use marginalized people in our community to forward their own corrupt agendas.

Stay tuned, this is gonna be FUN!

Is Kristen Jordan The Michael Jordan Of Political Tantrums? – by Travis Mateer

It’s not easy for me to defend a politician throwing a political tantrum about her peers lying about her when this same politician lied about ME to a political candidate, and not just some small lie either, but a big defamatory one that, were I to have the resources and/or a lawyer, I would litigate the shit out of deceptive politician.

All that said, does Kristen Jordan really deserve the point of order thrown down by Stacie Anderson? Because, as you will see, all that Jordan said was Jennifer Savage was being “protected”. Apparently making this claim represented impugning the motivations of council members. Here’s a clip from the retarded dumpster fire overseen by our Harvard-trained Mayor that shows it’s now illegal to claim establishment politicians protect their own:

After watching this meeting play out, including all the comments from council members at the end of the meeting, I learned about Kristen Jordan’s day job, since Mayor Davis doxxed Jordan by “congratulating” her on helping secure the money for the library’s “living roof“. Isn’t that funny?

There were other aspects of this meeting I’ll be covering later this week, but today’s post is gonna be a short one because I’m prepping for a podcast interview I’ll be giving later today about the power of the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office to kill people and get away with it, a topic I’ve dedicated the last five years of my life trying to understand.

So stay tuned, and thanks for reading!

Am I Allowed To Speculate On The Gender Of The Axe-Wielding Attacker In Clinton? – by Travis Mateer

The first indication I got that a brutal attack with sharp weapons in Clinton, Montana, was the result of an argument over the assassination of Charlie Kirk came from someone who just happened to be in the ER on September 16th when the father of the alleged attacker, Kira Raider, was brought in with life-threatening wounds. The overheard conversation directly implicated an argument over Charlie Kirk being the factor that sent Kira Raider into a rage so violent “he” attacked “his” sister and even the dog, a Corgi.

For more context, here’s KGVO providing “further details” in an article that sticks closely to the pronouns that indicates a son is standing accused of nearly murdering “his” own father:

The callers reported that after the stabbing, Raider was locked out of the residence and was currently attempting to force entry back in by breaking down the door. Before the deputies arrived, Dispatch was advised that Raider had returned to their portion of the residence, the second floor.

A deputy was the first to arrive on scene and was shortly followed by a sergeant and a corporal. The corporal observed that the entry to the second floor flew open, and Raider exited the second-level residence. The corporal could see that Raider had blood all over their hands and was holding an axe. The corporal told Raider to drop the axe. Raider complied with the commands and was placed in handcuffs at the bottom of the stairs.

The deputies placed Raider into the back seat of a patrol vehicle and observed lacerations to both of Raider’s hands, indicating to the deputies that Raider had tried to cut their fingers off. Accordingly, Raider was transported to St. Patrick’s Hospital to receive treatment and medical clearance.

During the transportation of Kira Raider to St. Pats hospital some fairly incriminating admissions were allegedly made, including admitting to the harming of the family dog:

During the ride and throughout the interaction with law enforcement, Raider made multiple audible statements of his own volition. According to court documents, those statements included admissions to stabbing Doe, and that Raider attempted to stab his sister and kill her dog.

When the sergeant entered the residence, he immediately went to check on Doe. The sergeant observed that Doe had suffered multiple stab wounds to his abdomen, and the people inside the residence were holding pressure on his wounds. EMTs ultimately arrived and took Doe into their care.

When local media first reported this attack, no name was used, so I found the name in the jail roster, and my first thought was skepticism that a biological male would be named “Kira”. When I consulted Facebook I wasn’t the only one thinking these kinds of thoughts:

A few comments down, someone claiming to be a high school peer of Kira’s makes the following the claim:

While the criminal justice system now has the task of determining what happened in this particular case, legally speaking, the role of the media is something I’m going to be watching very closely.

The reason I’m watching local media around this case is because of how poorly local media has performed with reporting basic facts when it comes to the movement of trans-politics in Montana, led by Missoula State Representative, Zooey Zephyr.

For example, in February of 2024, I took particular issue with the failure of Montana’s entire media landscape when they collectively failed to report that Zephyr’s supporters threw bloody gloves at law makers from the balcony of the capitol building in Helena, a fact an Idaho news outlet had no problem reporting on:

Montana state Rep. Zooey Zephyr, D-Missoula, stood at her seat in the Montana House Chamber with her microphone in the air, while the other representatives evacuated the floor as shouts of ā€œLet her speak!ā€ echoed from protesters in the House gallery above.

Protesters threw gloves covered in fake blood on the House floor Monday as police with batons and helmets made arrests and cleared the House Gallery and dissenters continued to shout.

Zephyr, the first transgender woman elected to the Montana Statehouse, had punched in to speak, and Minority Leader Kim Abbott, D-Helena, stood up, along with fellow Democrats, to say Speaker Matt Regier, R-Kalispell, had not recognized Zephyr.

Missoula was also the location of a recent senseless murder of a neighbor by a clearly troubled trans-shooter, Joan Eikens, who will be spending five decades at Montana’s State Hospital.

This local article makes no mention of the killer’s confused gender status, but it DOES include some statements about those in the neighborhood who KNEW “Joan” was fucked up and dangerous, said something about it, but nothing happened:

The state’s last statement was made by Yearboro’s daughter, Marianna Yearboro.

ā€œIn the early hours, I was woken up by the police saying that my dad was no longer with us. I was told that he died from a gunshot wound,ā€ ā€œI woke up later that morning and prayed that it had just been a nightmare. But it wasn’t,ā€ she said. ā€œThe man who had spent his life protecting me, there he was just like trash on the ground, no child should have to see their parent that way.ā€ ā€œIt has now been over a year since my dad’s murder, yet the pain is just as strong. Some moments become unbearable, like seeing a father and daughter in the grocery store together. I have attended two weddings since then, and seeing the father daughter dance brings me to tears every time.ā€

Tom Yearboro’s brother also made a statement, speaking about his brother. ā€œMany people complained about the person who shot my brother, and nothing was done. I’d like to say to the court that putting a person in for a couple of years is disturbing. This person needs to be put away permanently.ā€

While all four victim impact statements were read, Eikens showed no emotion, occasionally sipping coffee brought to her by her defense team.

Of course nothing was done, why would anything be done preemptively in a retarded town like Missoula where our local leaders love playing the victim card for anyone who checks enough boxes to have the victim profile of a possible Democrat voter?

Publishing this post in this current climate as someone who is highly visible around town and already getting targeted by someone who has yelled at me several times about the trans issue is not a risk I take lightly, but I don’t see other local media outlets rushing to point out the connection between violent propaganda, chemically altered brains, and a pattern of violent actions clearly happening across the country.

Reporting that omits facts to protect a movement isn’t news, it’s propaganda, and media outlets that downplay what’s happening risk fueling a backlash that’s now, thanks to Kirk’s assassination, already gaining momentum toward enacting some kind of legislative abomination just like the Patriot Act was ready to do to our civil liberties after 9/11

Will we ever fucking learn?

Thanks for reading.

Has The Missoula Redevelopment Agency Ever Been This Stupid? – by Travis Mateer

I tried warning them.

I tried expressing in clear, understandable terms that a trillion dollar library that needed a half million dollar injection right after securing a 38 million dollar bond from the public wasn’t the kind of responsible steward with what they already have, so why the hell would you consider giving them $75,000 for a “living roof”? Are you fucking kidding me?

Would the Committee of the Whole listen to reason? Or does their annual remittance ritual with MRA ensure no expenditure is too retarded to say yes to? Considering they struggle with basic technology competency I wasn’t hopeful, but I tried anyway.

I’m glad that their long day was made extra long by having to endure a public comment from someone who knows so much about their schemes, and has done more than most to expose them.

The following day I showed up to the noon board meeting of the Missoula Redevelopment Agency where the important people were falling over themselves schmoozing with Chris Behan, one of their own who left to create a private entity so that he and MRA can be a public/private partnership together, as this memorandum of understanding (pdf) from 2022 clearly indicates:

I can’t convey how icky and awkward it was to be in that boardroom as Behan got handjobs from almost everyone in the room, including the moron running the meeting, who joked about his ability to change bylaws if he wanted, or some smart-ass banter like that.

Funny how that all stopped when I opened my mouth and started talking about how drug-users use their MRA-greased infrastructure. Make sure to watch the whole clip so you can hear my laughter at the moron as I exit the boardroom. Clearly this man doesn’t understand who Tax Increment Financing drains the General Fund and DOES impact law enforcement:

How did these tax-spending junkies vote yesterday? They voted YES to one of the dumbest requests I’ve ever seen because clearly MRA board members need to be pee-tested as well. What more evidence do you need?

Two years ago it was my birthday pleasure to tell Matt Gibson what I thought of him and his move to destroy the Missoula Independent, thus making Missoula a more uninformed and ignorant community.

Today it is my birthday gift to YOU, dear reader, these video clips that provide two fun examples of my brash persistence in the face of disgusting political retaliation, including lawfare, which will lose some of its potency on September 28th.

I know, usually gifts on birthdays go in the other direction, so if anyone wants to direct money to my still active gofundme account, Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF) is waiting for your donation.

Who Supports Urine Testing Library Board Members And MRA Board Members For Being High AF? – by Travis Mateer

I was biking to the mall the other day when I saw a camera filming people walking out of a bank, the shiny new one that got a public money boost from MRA (Missoula Redevelopment Agency).

Was it the media filming? No, it was the architects, A&E, out documenting their shiny new display of success through publicly-funded gentrification.

The Missoula Redevelopment Agency agrees to help with the redevelopment of a major new bank building with one of the largest investments in the Midtown neighborhood in several years.

First Security Bank is planning to spend over $ 23 million for a new, three-story building, consolidating operations from multiple older buildings into a single new location.

Thursday, the MRA board approved a request to invest in the redevelopment using $711,000 in Tax Increment Financing, helping to pay for additional community improvements surrounding the new building.

For more on the galling history of the Missoula Redevelopment Agency helping those poor banks build their bank buildings, read this.

The only thing I can think of that would be more insane for MRA to throw more money at than bank buildings is the trillion dollar library where I’ve found drugs in the bathroom not once but twice.

When I saw that a request for $75,000 was being made by the library I asked myself WHAT could the library possibly need $75,000 dollars for? Especially considering they already panhandled MRA after their trillion dollar bond wasn’t enough public money to fully realize their wildest library dreams.

For those who don’t remember the library doing this, here’s an excerpt:

The Missoula Redevelopment Agency’s board of directors on Thursday agreed to give $200,000 to the Missoula Public Library and pledged an additional $300,000 over the next four years to help the facility retain the top floor of its new building, as envisioned in its design.

Members of the library board approached MRA last month with their initial request seeking $500,000 from the Front Street Urban Renewal District. The district doesn’t have that amount of funding on hand, however, and MRA was reluctant to issue debt to cover the cost.

MRA director Ellen Buchanan said the resulting agreement will see MRA contribute $200,000 in cash from the district and pledge an additional $300,000 over four years, not to exceed $75,000 in any given year, and only if there’s excess increment available.

That satisfied members of the library board, who lobbied strongly for the contribution.

After this 2018 request for more money, and the hilarious double-helix disaster, I really can’t believe the library has cooked up the following bullshit (thanks to Western Montana News for making me aware of this insanity) to justify asking EVEN MORE of the public MRA piggy bank:

With all this context in mind, who would support a hypothetical random urine testing program for the library board AND maybe the MRA board as well–you know, to see if they’re possibly high AF?

Stay tuned later this week for clips of me bringing my good ideas directly to the important people make the important decisions despite a nearly constant refrain of being broke AF

Coming from a caffeine/cannabis/Lego/b0ok-buying addict, this pattern of behavior is quite familiar to me.
