At one point during my decade-long stint working in Missoula’s non-profit sector, both of the smiling faces above would have smiled when talking about me and the program I led the charge on: the Poverello’s Homeless Outreach Program. However, any goodwill that existed quickly evaporated once we deviated on the issue of whether or not the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office should have the power to euthanize someone without proper familial notification.
A few days ago I wasn’t legally allowed to publicly write ANYTHING criticizing United Way of Missoula County. This seeming anti-Constitutional legal constraint was part of a plea deal I was compelled to take in order to avoid more serious charges, which local law enforcement was actively helping the County Attorney’s Office build against me.
After 48 hours in jail, two mental health assessments, six months of responding to every demand for urine, and limitations on my free speech from a district court judge more interested in bathrooms than the Constitution, I’m finally free to write the post about the LifeGuard Group that I’ve been waiting to write since a very lengthy article came out in the Missoulian several weeks ago.

The woman who fled the “safe house” run by a non-profit created by the Chaplain of the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office, Lowell Hochhalter, originally reached out to me because of articles like this one, which I wrote last year hoping legacy media would step up and help expose this dangerously inept non-profit with a direct financial connection to Montana’s Governor, Greg Gianforte.
When the victim of human trafficking reached out to me, I knew my legal constraints limited what I could write about, so I directed her to someone who actually gets a paycheck for reporting. Why is this important? Because the LifeGuard Group doesn’t just run a shady “safe house” for victims of human trafficking, they also operate the anti-trafficking hotline for THE ENTIRE STATE. Here’s an excerpt from the Missoulian article:
The group has a big stake in fighting human trafficking in Montana. In addition to operating a safe house, the organization runs the state’s human trafficking hotline, coordinates missing persons searches and provides educational trainings to law enforcement, schools and more. The organization has been publicly lauded by Gov. Greg Gianforte and Attorney General Austin Knudsen, both of whom are listed as partners on the LifeGuard Group’s website.
After this context is provided the article shifts to “Marcy’s” claims about how you have to have an appreciation for demons if you want these “Christians” to help you.
Marcy, who asked that her legal name not be used due to safety reasons, told the Missoulian in multiple interviews that the ranch left her worse off than when she arrived. She alleged the way the LifeGuard Group incorporated religion into it’s rehabilitation services bordered on emotional and spiritual abuse.
“You have to think exactly the same way they think. It’s like a group think. It’s like a cult.” Marcy said. “If you don’t submit to them or believe in demons or whatever else they want you to believe, all of the sudden you are a criminal in their eyes.”
Marcy is one of at least four women and two children to leave the ranch and seek other services since it opened to survivors in 2023, officials from the Missoula YWCA’s shelter confirmed to the Missoulian.
So, when did the Executive Director of United Way of Missoula, Susan Hay Patrick, know there were serious accusations against this non-profit supported by the Republican Governor of Montana? Was it before this 2024 picture she took with Gianforte and his wife?

The answer is YES, Susan Hay Patrick absolutely knew about serious accusations regarding the LifeGuard Group as early as January 1st, 2023, when I published an anonymous letter from someone Susan Hay Patrick knows quite well. Here’s the letter:

For those who know that Susan Hay Patrick leans left when it comes to her preferred political party, I have some difficult news for you: Montana is run by a uni-party of money, but if you point this out it will only get you ostracized from almost everyone.
For example, establishment Republicans in Montana are busy putting down a minor insurrection of Rhino removers who don’t seem to understand how the uni-party works. Well, it works by taking figures who might criticize them from the right, like Aaron Flint, and giving his wife a Gubernatorial appointment that I consider a bribe:
Power players in the stateās Republican Party and Montanaās congressional delegates are among those who have signed a letter in support of Jessica Flint, a controversial appointee to the Criminal Justice Oversight Council.
The gubernatorial appointment, which deals with civil rights for incarcerated prisoners, has drawn the ire of progressives in the state for removing representatives from the American Civil Liberties Union, who previously sat on the council.
Flint works for Alliance Defending Freedom, a Christian legal advocacy organization.
This aligns with another suspect move by the Attorney General, Austin Knudsen, who recently appointed the former Missoula under-Sheriff, Jason Johnson, to serve as a state-wide Chaplain. And who did Jason work under? The former DEMOCRAT Sheriff, T.J. McDermott. This makes Aaron Flint’s appreciation of Ellie Boldman a little more understandable.

If you don’t like having a corrupt uni-party giving each other bipartisan handjobs, tough shit, because I don’t see a state this big and sparsely populated being capable of getting relevant information in a timely manner to voters in order for the electorate to be informed about this vast corruption, so people will just keep voting for their respective parties and if they try holding these corrupt pieces of shit accountable, the uni-party will try to destroy you like it tried to destroy me.
I hope Susan Hay Patrick appreciates my resolve to continue exposing her negative influence on this community because I am NOT going to stop until she is no longer the director of United Way. In fact, the six month forced hiatus has only made me MORE RESOLUTE in my efforts to leverage what I know about the Homeless Industrial Complex in order to expose the despicable creatures who use marginalized people in our community to forward their own corrupt agendas.
Stay tuned, this is gonna be FUN!
