Get The Hell Away From Me, Jane

by William Skink

Despite all my skepticism about what we’re being told about this pandemic I haven’t gone full hoax like some websites have.

My biggest worry from the beginning is that something is out there and that something got out of a lab. The phrase “gain of function” is a terrifying phrase.

I had Democracy Now! on in the background today and the woman who was being interviewed was discussing the alarming, potentially long-lasting effects of Covid-19. Kidney failure, strokes, neurological problems, blood clots, etc. Even people who don’t present with flu-like symptoms may be at risk of all this other stuff, including younger people. What the hell is going on here?

I’ve been fairly consistent wearing a mask when I go into stores, but today I was downtown, outside, so my mask was in my pocket when a mentally ill woman I know from my shelter work approached me. She started cheerfully telling me how she just got back from touring America on the bus and she visited almost all 50 states. Of course she had no mask on and she got really close to me (I think she has a TBI, traumatic brain injury).

I told her to get away from me. She just kind of looked at me blankly. I said why the hell would you be be traveling around during a pandemic like that? She said don’t worry, she has been back for like three weeks and she’s fine. I shook my head and put some quick distance between me and this clueless individual.

Today was not the day to tell me about your travels, Jane.

I don’t think you need to be a “conspiracy nut” to realize that Dr. Fauci has a long history of being wrong scientifically. Having Fauci in charge of the Covid/SARS II response is akin to having Eric Holder in charge of investigating CDS fraud* 2009. Please read the Newsweek snippet below for Fauci’s connection to the Wuhan Lab
    =====================================
“[In 2019] the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses…Many scientists have criticized gain of function research, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans, because it creates a risk of starting a pandemic from accidental release.

In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.”

*[Prior to his appointment in 2009 to Attorney General, Mr. Holder was a partner at the law firm that lobbied to ensure that CDS were not regulated like ALL OTHER insurance products.]

S brennan. good attribution from a respected person. You want to participate in a cost-benefit analysis of evolutionary virology mutations and you would not even answer my simple question of what viral evolutionary model you think might be most accurate. Why can you not leave the argument to the experts? They might screw up but they might find a breakthrough. Eric Holder and CDS ? Outre my friend outre.

  2. S Brennan says:

John, have continually trolled from the onset, the consequence of which is, as explained previously, you give up any right to be considered a person worthy of anything more than dismissive replies. Now go troll somebody else, you are unworthy of my time.

    • john mcnaught says:

S Brennan you can make all kinds of assertions but can not answer a plain interrogative. I am not a troll .Just a curious person . I will leave you to your faulty reasoning in your (south side ?) silo. Outre my friend outre 🙂

  3. Eric says:

Are you suddenly 85 years old, with other chronic illnesses that would actually put you at risk?

Get a grip man, you are in little danger.

The number is 21 in Montana.

    • you can play partisan games if you want. my time in retail stores is brief, so I usually wear a mask. requiring my kids to wear a mask ALL day to go back to school? that is an entirely different conversation. the mask IS political, but people’s fears are very real to them. requiring a mask OUTSIDE is ridiculous. I can’t recall which state is doing that. would I want to risk a thousand dollar fine or ten days in jail? no, I would move to a less insane place.

    • john mcnaught says:

eric, did you ever consider the 21 people who died ?

      • Eric says:

Yes – far less than the typical flu season in a Montana.

There is no crisis in Montana.

As I told Pogie – wearing a mask in Montana is the same as walking around on fiberglass stilts so you don’t get hit by lightning.

If I was in NY or New Jersey, I’d wear a mask to protect old people who didn’t become shut ins, but not in Montana.

Eric, If you walk with your eyes closed, you are bound to run into something 🙂
