America is Ready for Hitler 2.0

by William Skink

Donald Trump’s teflon poll numbers signify, at least for me, one thing: America is ready for Hitler 2.0, and the leading candidate to administer America’s fascist rise is El Trumpo.

This century’s Jews will be mostly Muslims, but really any dark-skinned “other” will do.

We should thank Trump for showing us where America is going. For all those who continue to think it can’t happen here, I’ll quote that Muslim Non-American squatting at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue:

YES WE CAN!!!

“HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher argued Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is “a little Hitler-adjacent” and that “teabaggers” should be re-educated on Friday.

Maher said, “Trump was taking questions at his Klan rally in New Hampshire, and he learned a very important lesson, never give the microphone to a man who thinks Donald Trump should be president. Because this guy got up there, and he said to Donald Trump, hey, Obama’s a Muslim. Birth certificate man, he’s not even American, we know that, and the Muslims have training camps here, ready to kill us. What are you going to do about it? You know, there’s been a pet conspiracy theory among the teabaggers for a long time that Obama is setting up re-education camps. I’d like to say tonight, I think he should. Really, we need re-education camps. Because — you know, I try to resist comparisons to Hitler, because there’s only one Hitler. He broke the mold, but, you know what? If you’re stirring up xenophobic hate among an angry, humiliated population, and talking about rounding up minorities, it’s a little Hitler-adjacent. I got to say.”-Ian Hanchett

    • Maher is, like Jon Stewart, a court jester, nothing more, allowed a high-profile platform because there are no time bombs in them that will go off unexpectedly. I look to them for humor, but no real insight.

Maher is a libertarian neocon. He may have some good humor, and can pick apart some guests pretty well, but he was pretty gung-ho to go to Afghanistan and take out the “rag-heads” (his term). And he thinks a strong U.S. pre-emptive military is a good thing. In that, he pretty much toes the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive warfare. Get them before they get us. He pretty much charged up his war rhetoric after Politically Incorrect got pulled from the air by ABC after he called the military cowards for just sending cruise missiles as payment for terrorist flying into the WTC.

ABC decided against renewing Maher’s contract for Politically Incorrect in 2002, after he made a controversial on-air remark six days after the September 11 attacks. He agreed with his guest, conservative pundit Dinesh D’Souza, that the 9/11 terrorists did not act in a cowardly manner (in rebuttal to President Bush’s statement calling them cowards). Maher said, “We have been the cowards. Lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That’s cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building. Say what you want about it. Not cowardly. You’re right.” Maher later clarified that his comment was not anti-military in any way whatsoever, referencing his well-documented longstanding support for the American military. After receiving complaints, FedEx and Sears Roebuck pulled their advertisements from the show, costing the show significant revenue. — Wikipedia

Maher is a coward. Particularly when it comes to keeping himself on the air.

I have just one question about the Bernie guy. Is Sanders self-funding his campaign like Trump, or he accepted a bribe?
