The Truth about Travis Mateer’s Incarceration – By Freeman Tao

You can go up in a tall skyscraper in lower Manhattan and look East, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark – that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

I am going to keep this as brief as possible.

Misinformation is everywhere. Everyone knows this. What to do about it is a hotly contested topic. What strategies are appropriate? Who can or should be held responsible for creating it? For spreading it? Who CAN be responsible for combating it. How would they do that?

It is NOT just the crackpot bloggers who use misinformation to their advantage. Powerful people and organizations do it too. Corporations. Governments. NGOs. Intelligence agencies.

Which causes greater disruption; the organic misinformation that spreads in online and fringe circles when there are no official means to combat it? Or the large scale psy-ops of the alleged globalist “New World Order” seekers?

There has been a LOT of misinformation about Travis Mateer and the delicate legal situation that has him currently incarcerated in the Missoula County Jail. Before he went in he made me promise I wouldn’t reveal or discuss in detail the situation that he is court ordered not to write about on this blog. He made me promise not to name names – Not to lean into the underhanded attacks for which I am known and counted on…

I’m about to break that promise.

I cannot in good conscience continue as the executive editor of Zoomchron.com until you readers know the real truth. So I’m going to tell you.

Better yet. I’ll show you.

(A note to the more sensitive readers. This image may disturb you)

So there it is… all out on the table. Travis’ skeletons… out of the closet.

Just to make sure I’m being completely clear, here it is from another perspective.

Strange memories on this nervous night in Missoula Montana. Twenty-Five years later? Twenty-Four? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a Main Era – the kind of peak that never comes again. The World Trade Center in the early oughts was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run… but no explanation, no mix of words or thermite or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant…

History is hard to know, because of all the hired bullshit, but even without being sure of “history” it seems entirely reasonable to think that every now and then the energy of a whole generation comes to a head in a long fine flash, for reasons that nobody really understands at the time – and which never explain, in retrospect, what actually happened.

My central memory of that time seems to hang on one or five or maybe forty nights – or very early mornings – when I left the airfield half-crazy and, instead of practicing landing, aimed the big 767 like a lightning bolt across the George Washington Bridge at three hundred miles an hour wearing L. L. Bean shorts and a Butte sheepherder’s jacket… Booming over Greenwich village, aiming at the buildings of Lower Manhattan, not quite sure which safety mechanisms to turn-off when I got to the other end (always stalling at the final bank, too twisted to find the rudder control while I prayed to Allah)… But being absolutely certain that no matter which way I went I would come to a place where people were just as high and wild as I was: No doubt at all about that…

There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not across the Hudson, then up the Long Island Sound or down the turnpike to Jersey or Philly… You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning…

And that, I think, was the handle – that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting – on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave…

So now, less than twenty-five years later, you can go up in a tall skyscraper in lower Manhattan and look East, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark – that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.

A Series of unfortunate images – by Freeman Tao

I am above the law.

Its been pointed out that Travis’ readers are of an inherently suspicious nature, and Travis Mateer being of a fundamentally volatile nature, one might speculate that he actually formulated an elaborate alter ego. In order to quell such rumors before they get out of hand (and to humiliate any officers of the law or of the court who attempt to censor MY voice based on the conditions of Travis’ probation), here’s me with a copy of today’s newspaper (April 3rd, 2025).

Travis has been locked in the hole in the Missoula County Detention Facility since yesterday (April 2nd, 2025). As of the publication of this article, he’s still in there.

Voter ID laws and the predictability of Partisan fools – By Freeman Tao

Mainstream Republicans and hardcore Trump supporters watch Trump pulling out Benjamin Netanyahu’s chair and bowing and scraping with obsequious humility and they smell a fucking rat.

Let’s cut right to the chase. What America really wants is a candidate who supports the working class and will deport immigrants by the tens of millions. A willingness to tell people to their face that “being black or cutting your dick off doesn’t earn you any extra points” would be a huge bonus.

Now let’s dial it back and work our way up to that intense thesis in a traditional and reasonable fashion.

I was reading THIS New York Post article about voter ID laws in Wisconsin’s election earlier this week. The measure amends Wisconsin’s Constitution to require photo identification when voting.

Wisconsin state law already required voters to show identification, but enshrining the law into the Constitution makes it much more difficult for state legislatures or the courts to undo it.

Acceptable forms of ID for voting include “photographic identification issued by this state, by the federal government, by a federally recognized American Indian tribe or band in this state, or by a college or university in this state, that verifies the elector’s identity,” according to an explanation of the ballot measure released by Wisconsin lawmakers.

“If an elector is unable to present valid photographic identification before voting on election day, the elector must be given the opportunity to cast a provisional ballot and present valid photographic identification at a later time and place, as provided by law,” the lawmakers noted.

Of course the big headline from this Wisconsin election was the tension over Elon Musk’s active participation in the same Wisconsin election. He was behind a targeted and expensive campaign to gather petition signatures and get out the vote against a particular Wisconsin supreme court candidate. His methods appear to have been legal, but there’s a pretty good chance that such methods will not remain legal for long (just a guess of course). The big takeaway was that while in the vast majority of American Elections, “Money Talks”, even with this unprecedented level of spending, his candidate still lost. Wisconsin, well-known for their pro-union, strong working-class electoral politics, stood up to the traditional wisdom that whatever side spends the most money will get their way in an American election. BUT, where it gets interesting is where their voters jumped out of the ruts of what we’re TOLD are supposed to be our typical partisan patterns.

Hack election manager types will tell you that voter ID laws are a “republican issue”, same for immigration or ending “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” programs. But there’s a growing trend among young up-and-coming democrats. There’s an enormous groundswell of grassroots support among working class voters who are super pissed off about how the second Trump administration is playing out, but they’re EVEN MORE pissed off about the alleged “resistance” being put up by the mainstream democrat party, and most importantly, the Trump administration stuff they’re pissed off about is NOT the stuff their democrat handlers are telling them they’re supposed to be pissed off about.

No matter how many crocodile tears are shed by retroactivists clinging to their DEI gravy train, mass deportations are OVERWHELMINGLY popular among the American people. HERE is a report published by the PEW Research Center (who I would of course dismiss as globalist thinktank cucks whenever they were publishing studies that DIDN’T support my point, but I digress). The headline of this report is that 89% of Republicans and 44% of Democrats support arresting and deporting illegal immigrants at political protests and rallies. Honestly the study is a pretty interesting read, and it displays a MUCH different reality of American opinions on immigration and deportation than traditional mainstream media sources are ready to discuss. Mass Media outlets (from Democracy Now, to NPR, to CNN, to Fox News, to Breitbart) are used to a functioning system of partisan divide that while some of it didn’t really make sense, was still useful as a tool of narrative control. But with the fucking wheels coming off the train nobody can stomach the poisoned pills that have been inserted into the middle of the juicy chum chunks being shoveled into their gaping media maws.

Any asshole that regularly reads a fringe blog like this one has probably been awake for years to the fact that neither mainstream party has any interest or intention of serving the needs of the working class, and that these assholes have been pretending to compete for decades just to keep us at each other’s throats. That’s practically a platitude at this point. Not useful. What it lacks is specifics. And what’s been so successful in keeping us from latching onto specific issues and demanding movement on actionable policy is the shame regime from the virtue signalling cunts.

Douchebags with megaphones scream from college campuses and rainbow crosswalks about how their support for billionaires who import slaves by the millions to harvest glyphosate-caked crops for your ultra-processed feasts makes them a GOOD person, and if you think Guatemalans should be tilling the soil of Guatemala you are a BAD person. Propagandists, Agent Provocateurs, and Trolls the world over have successfully conflated cultural self-preservation with racism, and most normal people have been unwilling to risk the scary bad label to stand up to the narrative even as its gotten more and more absurd.

Young democratic candidates in New York, Colorado, and Minnesota have already been adopting immigration as a campaign platform, jettisoning their stodgy, traditional campaign managers who insist that only a republican can get elected by acknowledging that the primary role of the American Government is to serve the interest of American Citizens, and that the Mass-importation of slave labor from Latin America continues to be a tool that only exacerbates income inequality.

Jerks and Lesbians on NPR will wring their hands and swear up and down that our entire industrial agriculture system will collapse overnight if we don’t have tens of millions of Mexican slaves to pick our strawberries, but we’re not the only advanced industrial society on Earth. Does Germany require hordes of foreign slaves to keep their population from starving to death? Does South Korea? (If the answer is “Yes”, then I propose that we bite the fucking bullet and stop calling them immigrants and go back to calling them slaves. Fuck em. If slavery is necessary to the functioning of a technologically advanced society then let’s stop pussyfooting around it and just invade the shitholes and haul their men off to work the fields and their women off to work the brothels).

Voter ID laws have been another of those imposed dichotomies that are “not supposed to be a democrat issue”. The afore-mentioned Jerks and Lesbians on Democracy now and NPR and the New York Times will put on that pathologically patronizing tone they use and say that requiring a voter to meet the bare fucking minimum to prove their identity will “systematically disenfranchise poor urban blacks”. They point out that the poor urban blacks in question have a much lower percentage of driver’s license and state ID holders than the general population. Call me a hate-mongering bigot, but frankly I don’t particularly give a shit about disenfranchising people who are so out of touch with the basic functions of society that they can’t even figure out how to get a driver’s license or state ID. Sure, this shotgun approach to civics will also take out some of the endearing crazies who refuse to get DLs and IDs because of a charmingly extreme commitment to Libertarian ideals, but I don’t want my Libertarian Nutjobs actually VOTING anyway… I’d rather they voice their displeasure with unacceptable policy by shooting at it. (You’ve heard of “dollar votes”? Well these are “bullet votes”)

But again. I digress…

The point of this long winded rant is that the control sticks are falling off of the narrative. It’s a better time than ever to “come out” to your friends and co-workers as a sane and reasonable person. There’s less incentive than there has been in a long time to pretend to go along with the cancel cunts who shout down any disagreement with their wacky race-baiting obsessions. The curtains are coming off the wagon and the rubes can see that the bearded lady is gluing pubes to her chin. Fuck this. Shenanigans!

Mainstream Republicans and hardcore Trump supporters watch Trump pulling out Benjamin Netanyahu’s chair and bowing and scraping with obsequious humility and they smell a fucking rat.

Mainstream Democrats and aspiring socialist cucks hear Chuck Shumer say that his job is to “keep the left pro-Israel” and they’re ready to fucking riot. Maybe they’ll burn down the right fucking neighborhood this time.

Oh yeah, Travis is still rotting in Jail. I’m DYING to name names and get real fuckin’ personal about WHY he is in jail and WHO he isn’t allowed to talk about on this blog (But I am because I’ve still got a functional First Amendment), but for now I’m just gonna plug Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF). Give him money so he can afford to continue to drag them down with him.

Reflection on Narcissism – By Freeman Tao

Are you willing to examine your values to the degree that doing the right thing would betray every position you’ve publicly declared? That only by designating yourself as the villain to be reviled by your community can you serve said community?

Do you feel alarmed at the state of the world? Have you considered taking active responsibility, not only for your own problems, but for other people’s problems? To steer the ship when every heading promises only disaster? If you haven’t the power to solve the problem, is it not better to BE the problem? Perhaps the current problems facing your civilization are without solution – that for all the self-satisfied feeling of virtuous defeat that your socially-acceptable morality dictates, that being, quote, a good person, in a society where good and evil are defined by the most corrupt, is already the source of your problems, and everyone else’s?

Are you willing to examine your values to the degree that doing the right thing would betray every position you’ve publicly declared? That only by designating yourself as the villain to be reviled by your community can you serve said community?

What if bullying was the virtuous act all along? What if it was the act of punching down that gave the least of us the strength to accomplish the bare minimum? By coddling the downtrodden, have you been peeling away the cocoon of their tribulation, and leaving their fledgling wings too weak and underdeveloped to ever take flight?

What right do you have to define who is and isn’t vulnerable, or underserved, or disadvantaged? Are you secure enough in your ethical framework to examine whether your pity and your mercy and your compassion are not themselves the means by which these groups or individuals are held in subjugation and inferiority? Do you feel rewarded by speaking of kindness, generosity, or understanding extended towards such certain individuals or groups? Is not the very fact that you are rewarded either internally, externally, or both, proof that you yourself have an incentive to see that they remain in their position of disadvantage? What really makes you better than them other than your magnanimity? Your generosity of spirit? Your full and sincere hope for a different world where they aren’t beneath you, inferior to you… but that is not this world, and how can you move this world toward that when the status quo of inequality already rewards you for your benevolence in your role of superiority?

What are the means and the metrics by which your civilization decides which attitudes are deserving of reward and which of punishment? Is it possible that the entities who designate you as a person of good will and virtue are the same entities who oppress your brothers and sisters? That by rewarding you for shaking your head in sadness at their plight that they enfeeble you and disincentivize you from any real effort to cure the imbalances you see in the world around you? Do you believe in the message disseminated by the masters of war when they tell you that virtue can only be found through peace? That if you kill your enemies, your enemies win? That YOU would be the evil one, if you were to feel their aristocratic windpipes collapse in your grip? To watch the blood drain from their pallid faces and watch the light go out in their lidless reptilian eyes?

“Violence is never the answer” is never the answer – By Freeman Tao

” ‘Violence never solved anything’ is a statement uttered by cowards and predators” – Luigi Mangione

For the boomer readers of Zoomchron, I apologize in advance. I’m about to generalize the hell out of you, and in a manner I hope to be profoundly critical and unflattering. If however, I should be factually accurate about your views and attitudes regarding violence and class warfare, please try to absorb some of the constructive criticism instead of getting defensive. Some of you fucking fossils are alright and I’d love to see you grow past this insincere pacifist thing so many of you have adopted.

Let’s set the scene…

You’re visiting your boomer parents for Christmas, and you’re enjoying the novelty of cable television. Maybe you’re enjoying a nice episode of the Daily Show or choking down your myriad objections through the interminable drag of Colbert… when the painfully mainstream host makes a reference to Luigi Mangione… The live audience erupts into jubilant cheers, you smile and let go of a little of that tension that’s been building in your neck for your whole fucking life… The execution-style murder of medical CEO Brian Whatshisname is after all the one real feelgood story of the last few years and you remain pleasantly surprised to know SO many people are SO unironically on board. You think maybe there is hope after all… But then you notice your otherwise-hip, sometimes-wise boomer parents are all tensed up, their tension is the reflected inverse of your relief, and it surprises you because they know as well as anybody how fucked things are and how cunts like that murdered CEO are the ones responsible… So what gives? Why aren’t they smiling?

You strike up a conversation, trying to figure out how they could POSSIBLY be unhappy about such an unprecedentedly positive story…

And just a couple lines into the conversation they drop this turd into the punch bowl…

“Violence is NEVER the answer.”

They say it with this affectation of sincerity that is meant to telegraph that they are SO fucking enlightened and how much they pity the foolish peons succumbing to this plague. They say it like saying it while not doing anything makes them a GOOD PERSON.

We’ll talk about why this is happening and what can be done about it at some length, but the important thing to remember is that this bullshit, phoney platitude needs to be countered quickly and effectively, lest it derail the first meaningful conversation provoked by mainstream news in the last decade.

There’s a quick and effective riposte to this “violence is never the answer” nonsense.

You just look them straight and the eye and say: “Shut the fuck up. You’re fucking stupid. Shut your stupid fucking mouth.”

In some circumstances a sharp slap on the cheek helps punctuate the sentiment, but you’ll have to determine on a case-by-case basis if it will be appropriate.

After the shock has worn off you can attempt to go into all the reasons that what they’re saying is stupid and wrong, but I think the most effective point of actual explanation is that NOBODY who ever says “Violence is never the answer” actually means it. What they mean when they say it is “I’m not comfortable discussing real solutions to this existential problem, and so I’ve emotionally shut down, but I still want to assert a position of moral superiority over you even though I refuse to engage in any meaningful way.”

This learned uselessness is especially easy for boomers. They probably own their own home. They were probably hippie, idealist types in their youth, but in their old age they’ve probably drifted to either outright conservatism, or that form of indolent, toothless “progressivism” that comes so naturally to their pampered generation. OF COURSE they’re not invested in real solutions. Real solutions involve sacrifice, involve risk, involve hard decisions and even harder work, and they already got theirs. They really have nothing to gain by fighting to save the functioning society they inherited because it’s very obvious that it has always worked for them and will continue to work for them until they’re all dead, which is only 20 or so more years anyway. The system worked just fine when they inherited it, and sure it was broken beyond repair by the time you inherited it, but that is of course a YOU problem.

So the next time you’re trying to have a productive meeting, like deciding who is the richest, most powerful person that you and your friends can realistically find and execute, and some smarmy cunt trots out ol’ reliable “Violence is never the answer”… Punch them in the throat. If they fight back you can see that they just learned how wrong they were. If they don’t fight back then just keep hitting them. They were never going to contribute anything of substance anyway.

Bye for now. Keep your Teeth clean.
