I was giving the Brandon Bryant case some thought the other day because I have heard, though can’t find it reported, that it took the jury less than an hour to acquit him of the felony intimidation charges that could have landed him in prison for 10 years.
I have also heard that Bryant’s defense was an impressive thing to watch. Too bad our pandemic had to limit public participation in this fascinating court process involving FOUR elected officials giving testimony. And during a municipal political cycle nonetheless!
It’s kind of remarkable to think there is so much going on right now that I haven’t even had time to look into how one goes about getting transcripts.
Maybe next week.
