Did You Know It’s Human Trafficking Narrative Control Month?

Whoops! The title of this post is all wrong. This months the idea is to PREVENT human trafficking, not control the narrative around it. Why am I confused? Montana’s Attorney General, Austin Knudsen, is making it pretty clear on the Montana dot gov website that the plan is PREVENTION.

If we’re talking PREVENTION, how about preventing the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office from euthanizing people? Like, maybe there could be anti-euthanizing classes where Coroner’s are taught the skill of communicating to a family BEFORE the plug is pulled.

Whatdya think, boys? Think you could handle that?

When I called 911 about a possible trafficking situation in 2022, the response here in Missoula was pathetic, so pathetic I actually got an apology from the manager of 911 dispatch. I also got a call from Detective Guy Baker–the famous Detective who texted me last year–and THIS call had the impressive letters F…B…I…show up when the call came through.

When you think about the effort to combat human trafficking in Montana I would like people to think about the role of a hilarious individual who wears many hats, and that person is the Chaplain of the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office, Lowell Hochhalter.

If you click the link above it will take you to an article with 27 MORE links to articles I’ve written over the last few years about Lowell, his “non-profit” organization, the LifeGuard Group, and his relationship to the statewide efforts to combat human trafficking.

It’s only this bad in Montana because people are ignorant about reality, and people are ignorant about reality because the media is all about CONTROLLING narratives, not telling accurate ones.

I do what I can to counter this reality, locally, but I’m only one person, and the forces I’m up against aren’t fucking around. That means I should probably do a little LESS shit-talking, like polling locals about which Lego Detective should play the famous Detective in my Lego world.
