What is going to happen today? Will red heifers be slaughtered to fulfill Biblical prophecy? Will “sounding rockets” launched by NASA signal the kick-off to blue beam shenanigans? Will we move from the White Horse of pestilence to the Red Horse of war?
Fuck all that bullshit, I’m picking trash up today. I did some outreach yesterday afternoon, then early this morning. I’m rolling with another independent journalist who kicks ass and has helped my own perspective develop over the years. And, who knows, we may even manage to have some FUN today. Anything is possible.
I’ve told plenty of individuals and agencies this is happening, and many of my conversations are of the “background” variety, meaning I’m not going to blab about every nuance I come across in my multi-varied approach at destroying the grip of nefarious narrative controllers and the stories they think will stay buried like dead bodies.
I even managed to write and record a little tune for my surveillance fan club that I really hope they enjoy. Am I wrong sometimes? Sometimes I am, and when it comes to my more imaginative interpretations of the signals I get, I actually HOPE that I am wrong.
When I attended the MMIP fundraiser last month at the Butterfly House in Missoula, I was attempting to do the same thing as this organization claims to be doing, and that’s RAISING AWARENESS about the problematic dynamics in this community that prevent supporters of indigenous peoples from making headway with the factors destroying their communities, like drugs and fake saviors named Lowell Hochhalter.
One of my “raising awareness” methods has been to attend public meetings and make public comments, like I’ve been doing regarding my ECLIPSE THEIR BULLSHIT urban camp trash removal event, which I’m still planning on doing this Monday, April 8th, staring around noon in the parking lot of Imagination Brewery.
Promoting this event is why I showed up to the County Commissioner meeting on Thursday, but when I heard Commissioner Vero read the proclamation for April being sexual assault awareness month, I decided to approach the microphone to say this:
Did I compare “urban camping” trash to victims of sexual assault? Yes, I did, and it’s not the first time I have been explicit about how enabling urban camping enables all kinds of violence, including sexual violence. That link goes to a post from April of 2021, when the volunteer-led cleanups in the Reserve Street Bridge area were being fiercely criticized by homeless-industrial complex narrative controllers, like Susan Hay Patrick of United Way.
Susan has an important skillset when it comes to raising money, but her ability to control narratives has been significantly impacted, I’d like to think, by my dedication to expose corrupting bullshit wherever I find it, which seems to be nearly everywhere these days.
The billboard image that I used to start this post has a website, and that website is promoting a project being done by a photographer. Is this just another media campaign, like the Montana Meth Project, that will produce NOTHING but money-raising opportunities for people who have monetized their victim status?
These billboards are a symptom of a bigger problem, a problem I described when I wrote about the grief industry. Why is this a problem? Well, as I’ve seen up-close and personal, when certain grief-narratives get established, the actual truth about what’s happening takes a backseat to other priorities, like raising money.
As an out-spoken white man with MANY unpopular opinions, I’m happy to continue showing what it takes to bring something I like to call REALITY to the forefront of our highly manipulated local media landscape. If you’d like to assist my meager and not-very-successful attempts to raise funds for my work, Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF) is the place to do it.
Ok, time for the Trash Alchemist to do some preparing for tomorrow’s fun, hopefully the end-times feel of the eclipse insanity doesn’t derail positive vibe I’ve been trying to cultivate.
There is a problem that trash shares with sexual assault victims and that problem is the problem of JURISDICTION. For trash generated by “urban camps”, the question of jurisdiction is mainly driven by cost. For victims of sexual assault, the question of jurisdiction is much thornier because the cost isn’t just financial; there’s a social cost that is very difficult to quantify when the topic of how to address claims of sexual violence are made, especially when the jurisdiction is the University of Montana.
Before purchasing a pre-rolled marijuana cigarette, I was on campus yesterday handing out handbills with my game-poem on the back. That’s when I saw an issue of the Kaimin with this headline blasted on the cover:
The gist of the story is that recent claims of rape reported by a female college student didn’t result in an actual case within our criminal justice system. Instead, the challenge of jurisdiction apparently pin-balled this alleged victim between University law enforcement and City law enforcement, adding trauma to the woman’s experience. From the link (emphasis mine):
University of Montana police sergeant Scott Brodie took notes, but told Kroll nothing needed to come of it. Kroll later called Brodie to ask for advice on if she should move forward, and Brodie forwarded her a UMPD detective’s information. She wasn’t aware of it at the time, but that’s what officially kicked off the start of a months-long back-and-forth of interviews with multiple organizations, like UM’s Title IX office and UMPD. Over and over, she was asked to tell her story.
It was painful, and she thought of giving up, but one thought kept echoing in her mind: “He could do that to someone else. He will do something to someone else.”
After visiting the hospital, she connected with another student who said the same man had raped her, and they planned to go to the police together. The other student ultimately chose not to. According to previous Kaimin reporting, the man was banned from campus and was the subject of multiple other reports, including a fondling incident reported in August 2022 and a report where three other students alleged he threatened them with a weapon “on the basis of protected class.”
In June 2023, nine months after the assault, Kroll heard from Lead Deputy County Attorney for Special Victims Unit Prosecution Ryan Mickelson, who was working on taking her case to court.
But she had no case. He said there wasn’t enough evidence to prove her assailant knew she did not consent to his actions.
This isn’t the only pairing of victims I’m aware of without official cases AFTER reporting allegations of sexual assault, and the perpetrator in THAT pair of alleged assaults ALSO has an extensive criminal history of violence, but charging those cases in court could have reflected poorly on Lowell Hochhalter, the chaplain of the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office and president of the LifeGuard Group, a non-profit propped up by our Governor to ostensibly HELP victims of human trafficking escape their situations.
Without a clear path to justice, victims are forced to do other things, like tell their story to a university newspaper or local blogger in order to raise the alarm that, post-Krakauer, Missoula is NO SAFER than we were BEFORE the book was written about our criminal justice system and its lack of prosecuting sexual assault cases.
Here’s the letter I published on January 1st, 2022, in a stupid attempt to get this community to give a shit about what was STILL NOT HAPPENING in their supposedly reformed criminal justice system. Why stupid? Maybe I can answer that more fully after my own legal issue is hopefully resolved next month.
After campus I took a stroll and smoked that joint by the river. Was I feeling personally trolled at this point? Well, when you get stoned by the river, then find your name weirdly spray-painted on a stump, yes, you start feeling a little paranoid.
I did my best to ignore this weird signage and continued about my day, but the day just kept providing more and more opportunities to get triggered and pissed off, like when Virgil and I entered the Missoula County Courthouse to attend the Commissioner meeting.
Was it the proclamation about April being sexual assault month that got me? Yep, so I got up from my seat and approached the microphone to make a public comment.
Commissioner Strohmaier must have been confused about the timing of my comment Because he clarified I was only to comment on the proclamation. YES, COMMISSIONER, said I with my loud voice, it’s the proclamation I want to comment on.
When the comment finally gets posted I’ll clip it and publish it here, probably Sunday, so you can see how quickly I become humorless when our elected officials use virtue-signaling WORDS, like each and every one of their stupid fucking proclamations.
Since just writing this post is pissing me off, I’m going to wrap this up so I can continue promoting my ECLIPSE THEIR BULLSHIT event around town on this sunny-looking first Friday in Zoom Town. If you’d like to help, a financial donation is a GREAT way to assist my work, so consider donating to Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF).
Virgil and I got to work last night after seeing another Jedidiah spike in the stats, one we eagerly shared with our surveillance fan club after launching our trash and mouse game with city council.
After Virgil helped me apply my hand-carved wooden snake detector we realized something. Maybe people are clicking on this post of mine because they can’t get their Jed fix on Youtube anymore?
I was surprised how long this account was allowed to remain active, considering Jed is the kind of guy that invites a dude to join him on Telegram (me), then deals with HIS obvious butthurt when I turned him down by targeting me on his now defunct YouTube channel, which I touched on in this Super Bowl post.
Here’s a screenshot from my own post that documents this hilarious claim:
I’m not a dirty Fed last time I checked, but I did react to this accusation by passing along Jed’s phone number in a report I gave to the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, despite my misgivings about that Office’s leadership.
Jed has a hefty bond right now in the Missoula County Detention Facility, but that hasn’t wiped the smile of this FUGITIVE’S face.
Before we get to another man being labeled a FUGITIVE in jail with Jed and also with a last name starting with the letter S, here’s an interesting story about Jed from a GoFundMe account:
This sob story wouldn’t be complete without a reminder about what sent Jed off the deep end in the first place:
The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station said that at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in the 13000 block of Cuyamaca Road.
Upon arrival, a deputy learned that Schulz had refused to return three cats that belonged to the reporting party.
While speaking to Schulz, Deputy Watson witnessed a young boy in the living room with several cats running around. He also noticed an extremely strong odor of cat urine coming from inside the residence.
After entering the residence, the deputy located over 50 cats, several exotic birds, lizards and dogs. The entire home was covered with wood chips that the cats used as a litter box, sheriff’s officials said.
Taking on a more dower and thus appropriate FUGITIVE demeanor, Clayton Shea looks like he’s seen better days, perhaps the days spent running a write-in campaign for Whatcom County Sheriff. Isn’t this a strange world?
I first met Clayton last spring while doing REAL journalism in order to show how this Missoulian fluff piece was missing the meth-dealing connection I was able to easily find. While doing my journalism I was apparently a little TOO LOUD at 8am while talking to the young man the Missoulian played the victim card for. According to one of my sources on the street, young men might need to be careful around Clayton.
Getting back to Jed and his love for exotic kitty-cats, is the guy pictured below with a parrot just a lone nut, or is he part of something bigger developing in the Northwest, something that could include a White Supremacist like Steven Barry?
While Jed sits in a Missoula jail cell on a quarter million dollar bond, I’m considering reaching out to the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Office for a little chat. I actually enjoy talking to law enforcement when I know I can be helpful, like last spring, when I called the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office in Idaho to discuss a little shoot-out and the publicly expressed opinions of the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office regarding Idaho law enforcement.
Here’s why I felt the need to speak with Idaho law enforcement:
In yesterday’s post I buried the lede, but not today. Today I’m going to say, right here at the top, that Ryan Funke’s Sheriff’s Office released the female suspect they detained before the St. Regis shootout WITHOUT notifying the County Attorney’s Office. I confirmed this with Deputy County Attorney, Wally Congdon, after I knocked on his door in Missoula and asked him about his cows.
This act by Funke’s Sheriff’s Office is hard to believe for those who understand how a local government is supposed to function, and it’s the detail that got the attention of the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office last month when I spoke with a Captain about what I had discovered. The Captain assured me he would pass along my information to the Shoshone County Sheriff.
If anyone with relevant information would like to do the same for Apple Valley, here’s the contact info provided in the article linked to above:
If you appreciate the stories I cover, stories that no other local media outlet seems interested in telling, then consider supporting Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF). And get ready for Monday, because the ECLIPSE THEIR BULLSHIT trash removal event and poetry reading is going to be something to behold.
Not many people understand the various levels I’m attempting to operate on, and that’s ok, because not everyone is handling magickal trash with the kind of unique properties I seem to be handling in my quest to be a UNITER of the Trash Tribes before Zoom Town becomes DOOM Town.
The handbill is at the printer and the poem is waiting in tiny print for YOU to read and decipher. Can you do it? Can you help our fair city officials decode the clues so a dumpster can be placed, thus providing an appropriate receptacle for me to place the trash I’ll be conjuring into bags?
If not, alas, the bags will be placed in a VERY visible pile, perhaps in a manner that utilizes my skillset of artistic trash arrangement, like my replacement, who I took to campus the other day to suddenly face the distinct possibility that our future will be retarded.
Since I couldn’t operate my mouth as intended on campus, I operated my camera for some photo-ops instead. Here’s Travis two-point-oh looking very small beneath the looming JOURNALISM building, where the Kaimin kids have been offered another chance to report on my awesomeness (it didn’t work out last spring).
Do the Kaimin kids watch Wednesday City Council meeting, like the Committee of the Whole? If not, maybe they’ll watch me clip myself giving Council my WHOLE allotment of morning fucks in the most delightful of ways, and that’s through the calming effect of Virgil and my increasing tool-set, which now includes a small stick to accompany my LOUD walking around town.
Yes, the committee of the WHOLE has now heard all about the opportunity to be proactive I’m providing. All they have to do is read my poem, figure out the clues, and place a dumpster at the location I’m hinting at BEFORE I do my dumping. And, as anyone who knows me can attest, I’m a prolific dumper!
No one but Virgil knows the location of my impending deposit. Does that mean my surveillance fan club is in the dark? I don’t know, the attention I assume is ubiquitous got extra cute the other night when the phone of a woman I was meeting with called me from her purse. Isn’t that adorable?
When you add the possibility of text replies I’ve received that she told me later she didn’t actually send, well, two letters come to mind I’m not particularly interested in pairing together right now, but I suspect a few discerning readers know what I’m talking about.
Tomorrow, I’m going to write about two people currently in Missoula lock-up and it should be pretty interesting. Does my surveillance fan-club already know who I’m talking about already? If they see what I see in my stats, then they see a little bump of interest in Jed’s stand-off with the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office.
