Herr Trump

by William Skink

I have multiple posts I would like to be writing, but I’m in data restriction, so I’m thumbing this on my phone.  Usually when this happens, streaming video is the main thing impacted, but this month I can’t do shit, so expect light posting as fascism comes to full fruition in America.

When I used the F word pre-Trump it was dismissed as outlandish hyperbole.  Now that the perks of the presidency, like drone killing and executive orders, have been bestowed on oompa Adolf, the F word will be taken more seriously.

This is the nightmare those of us without partisan blinders on were worried about.  This is the horror show made possible  by Neoliberals assuming identity politics would install their Queen.

Saturday marches with pink pussy hats won’t stop this dark decline.  Letting Chuck fucking Schumer frame the opposition is utter idiocy.

We are only days into this new era, with Trump backed by the US military during the inauguration like a symbolic warning to the other faction of the deep state trying to take him out.

Buckle up, peeps, the turbulence is going to be severe.

    Dow just hit 20,000!

    • do you really think that means anything?

also, I apologize for the immense size of the Trump pic. I’ve can’t seem to edit it–has Trump taken over WordPress?!?

Go QE! What happens when Trump threatens the Fed, and they decide to tank him by refusing to inject more liquidity?

You do realize that the stock market has been propped up by the Fed as it quintupled its balance sheet to almost 5 trillion dollars since the bank collapse? What do you think will happen when the piper comes a callin’?

Are you afraid of a strong President?

    I’m not.

So far everything he has started to do is in our, the peoples favor, not foreigners, and not Washington Elites.

I’m going to send an email to Sen. Daines, reminding him about Colstrip, and the Obama-era Clean Power Plan that is going to close it, that Congrass never approved. I’ve been known to bet on occasion, and I’m betting Colstrip is saved.

Haven’t you heard? China just canceled the construction of 103 coal-fired power plants. Who you going to sell all that coal to? The Ruskis? You could sell them the sun or wind, but you can’t make a profit off a free resource. Oh, besides they’re years ahead of us in solar and wind tech.

  3. Eric says:

All that solar and wind has to be backed up by conventional power plants – and since we have a what – 3000 years supply of coal I’m not worried about running out.

The Donald hasn’t even been in office a week, and he’s doing what he promised – putting America first. God Bless Him !

I would hope that 3,000 years from now our civilization has progressed to a point where fossil fuels aren’t needed. Fusion should have taken over long before that.

And you may think trump’s “putting america first” (politicians never really do their slogan, so whatever…), but what he really is doing is putting Donald first. Pretty plain to see. Then again, the Obama derangement syndrome has just morphed into Trump derangement syndrome, so who knows…

If we are a fascist country today, when were we not a fascist country?

Seems to me it’s always been this way, more or less, at least in my lifetime (1949 – ).

Eisenhower was “warning” us of something that already happened, much like Trump announcing the death of — already dead and buried — TPP. That’s not all. His January 17, 1961 farwell speech: http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/ike.htm

When I read The Devil’s Chessboard, it became apparent that we were involved in fascism pre-WWII, what with all of the financial and technical support for the rise of Hitler. And then again during the war, as Dulles & Co aided and abetted various elements of German and Italian fascist movements, including the escape and harboring post-war fascists. Then there was the development of a secret foreign policy separate from the official line kept in D.C. that began the cold war. Pure fascism disguised in the fight against fascism.

I think what is becoming apparent is that american fascism is becoming more and more overt, and is being normalized among people who would never guess that they are fascists themselves, or at least support fascism.

Well put. So, the talking heads — MSM, elected officials, bureaucrats, business leaders, et al. — that keep parroting “our democracy” ad nausium are either ignorant, or in on the long con.

    Here’s another good one.
