We are now into the second month of Democrat deniers refusing to accept the results of the election while trying everything possible to do precisely what they were terrified Trump would do when (not if) he lost: delegitimize the results.
But the recounts didn’t work, the CIA led Putin-did-it propaganda campaign didn’t work, and appealing to state electors didn’t work. Even in Montana, around 20 people with nothing better to do showed up in Helena to protest the Democratic process they would be vehemently defending had the results been reversed.
I wonder if any of these people have given any serious thought to what would happen if their efforts were successful?
While Democrat deniers throw tantrums over the flawed process that leans redneck and denied their Queen her crown, our current killer-in-Chief chose to use his fleeting presidential platform to mock Russia. I find this statement to be truly despicable:
“The Russians can’t change us or significantly weaken us,” he said. “They are a smaller country. They are a weaker country. Their economy doesn’t produce anything that anybody wants to buy except oil and gas and arms. They don’t innovate. But they can impact us if we lose track of who we are.”
What I see being expressed here is the death-rattle of American Exceptionalism. A confident leader of a strong nation that actually believed in itself and the democratic principals it stands for wouldn’t have to make itself feel big and important by tearing down another country.
Instead of scapegoating Russia and fake news and angry white people, the anti-Trump resistance should focus on what has actually weakened this country: Wall Street predation, Crony Capitalism and the globalist agenda that feeds on fear, division and perpetual war.
It raises the questions:
1) Is the USA a sovereign country? Or are we more akin to the military wing of a larger geopolitical system?
2) How real are our elections? Has the USA ever been a “democracy?” Or have we been conditioned for 240 years to say it is so?
3) How can Russia be our enemy if it is financed and controlled by the same powers that finance and control the USA? Private finance rules over all.
We’re not a Democracy Steve – If you want mob rule, have a democracy, where 50% +1 more can trample the rights of the other 49%.
Correct, Eric. However, you assume to know what I “want” from the question. Highly speculative. I made one statement above: Private finance rules over all. Do you agree, or disagree? Merry Christmas.
Actually, Obama’s description of Russia fits this country pretty well.

Watch out for that, ‘fake news’ …
Fake news is a constant. What about our bipartisan-fake economy? http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-12-22/something-wicked-way-comes
“And so castles made of sand, fall in to the sea, eventually.”
“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been about 200 years. They all follow a similar cycle: “…from bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependency; from dependence back again into bondage.” – Alexander Tyler, 1750
Merry Christmas guys.
