Here’s Evidence The City Of Missoula Doesn’t Care About Credible Help For Victims Of Human Trafficking

by Travis Mateer

When I went to Municipal Court this week for my legal issues I noticed the sign in the upper left corner of the cork-board promoting the services of the LifeGuard Group. Want evidence the city of Missoula doesn’t care about WHO they’re sending victims of trafficking to? That sign is the evidence because the hotline is a joke, and anyone who has been reading THIS blog for the last few years should know it.

In 2022 a politician by the name of Penny sent me a report from this hotline and the report is a one page summary of the hotline’s use. Here it is:

Who sends these reports out? Lowell Hochhalter’s son, Carson, because this “non-profit” employs Lowell’s family, including the woman (Lowell’s wife, Tami) who allegedly tried to strip-search a victim and her daughter at their remote “safe house” in Bitterroot Valley.

Does this sound like a credible non-profit capable of dealing with traumatized victims coming from a VERY dangerous and lucrative trade?

Yesterday NBC Montana reported on the symposium our Attorney General held in Bozeman on human trafficking. From the link:

Attorney General Austin Knudsen hosted an anti-human trafficking symposium Thursday in Bozeman.

Knudsen, local law enforcement and other agencies came together in Bozeman to discuss ways to improve services for survivors and bring those who exploited them to justice.

“The message we want sent is do not engage in this filth in Montana,” said Knudsen.

Isn’t our AG adorable when he tries to act tough in order to keep his job? Too bad all these idiots have been propping up a complete JOKE in Missoula for years, despite someone like me warning this community that the LifeGuard Group is NOT a credible organization capable of dealing with this population of trafficking victims.

If you want to see my exposure of the LifeGuard Group, this post has LOTS of links to my coverage over the last few years. Pretty good for someone doing this work WITHOUT a steady paycheck for the trouble, and believe me when I say there’s BIG trouble brewing in my life.

If you’d like to assist me monetarily, Travis Impact Fund (TIF) is still accepting donations and I just received another VERY generous donation of $100 dollars. Thank you!

And, as always, thanks for reading!
