A Zoom Town Conversation With Alison McDowell

by Travis Mateer

It’s weird to see people so deeply invested in our two party political system. It’s no different than investing psychic energy in a sports team. You like the players because they wear your colors, but in order to enjoy the game, you ignore the reality that the ownership class uses gullible sports fans to enrich their bottomline.

Today’s episode of Zoom Town is a conversation with Alison McDowell, a mom from Philadelphia who started showing up to school board meetings seven years ago to become more involved in the education of her children. That direct participation evolved into researching topics like human impact markets, stakeholder capitalism and the gamification of our future.

This week is the perfect time to listen to McDowell’s perspective on a possible path for Zoom Town. The Davos crowd is meeting this week as Oxfam’s latest report shows soaring wealth and plunging poverty thanks to the pandemic. The Davos crowd is using this pandemic to rebrand globalism into their BIG OPPORTUNITY to impose THE GREAT RESET.

If you don’t think international wealth will be playing a role in transforming our little mountain town, you clearly haven’t been paying attention. One area that will be strengthened by international capital is the public/private partnership. Here is how the World Economic Forum describes this velvet glove of fascism:

3. Public-private partnership

Ultimately, the post-COVID era “will demand private-sector engagement every step of the way,” wrote Schwab last June.

And we’ve seen that this is possible. “During the COVID-19 crisis, companies, universities, and others have joined forces to develop diagnostics, therapeutics, and possible vaccines; establish testing centers; create mechanisms for tracing infections; and deliver telemedicine,” he continued.

The development and rollout of COVID-19 vaccines including Oxford-AstraZeneca and Pfizer-BioNTech are shining examples of what can be achieved when the public and private sector work together towards a goal.

“Imagine what could be possible if similar concerted efforts were made in every sector,” added Schwab.

Public-private partnership will be essential to recovery from COVID-19, as well as addressing a host of multilateral challenges that lie ahead – from ensuring people receive the COVID-19 vaccines to preparing for the next pandemic, as well as tackling cybersecurity and climate change.

Yes, we are already seeing the University of Montana’s MonTECH business incubator ramping up the public/private capital harvesting scheme to seed public resources for private sector gain. Great work if you can get it.

If you are eager to live in the technocratic future being created by internationalists like Klaus Schwab and “philanthropists” like Bill Gates then none of this should worry you. Just sit back, turn off your brain, and let the technocrats do their thing.

But if you DO NOT WANT their globalist control grid determining where and how you can live, then now is the time to prepare for resistance.

You Cannot Heal What Does Not Exist

by Travis Mateer

Former Missoula Mayor Daniel Kemmis wants to heal our democracy (and maybe sell a few books in the process). If you would like to benefit from the alleged wisdom of this Democrat politician, he will be presenting “Healing our Democracy: Breaking Down Divisions Through Relationships and Citizen Participation” this evening via Zoom.

I have zero interest in whatever Kemmis might have to say about Democracy in Missoula because what is happening today in our community isn’t democratic, it’s authoritarian. Let me explain.

I don’t remember voting for Ellen Leahy to be the Health Czar of Missoula, picking which businesses live or die, and I don’t recall having a say in selecting the people who decide what to spend public TIF money on, so healing democracy doesn’t apply to these areas of government power.

I think it’s important to identify where democracy DOES NOT EXIST in Missoula so we can make an informed decision about whether or not to continue allowing anti-democratic institutions, like the Missoula Redevelopment Agency, to exist.

Two years ago our elected braintrust used a million dollars in public TIF money and 3.2 million dollars in bonds for the new (at the time) police facility on N. Caitlin Street. According to John Wells, the architect for MMW who worked on this project, “We were designing for a 40-year capacity and I think we’ve done that,” said John Wells, one of the principal architects of MMW.

No, John, you apparently DID NOT DO THAT because last summer our non-elected MRA board members were told the police department needed a quarter million dollars for showers, and last Friday that request was honored by the MRA board members no one in Missoula voted for. From the link (my emphasis):

Calling it a health and safety issue, the Missoula Redevelopment Agency this week agreed to fund renovations to the police evidence building, including the addition of a changing room and shower.

As it stands, the department has neither.

“One of the things that’s been lacking in the police department forever is adequate shower and changing facilities,” said MRA director Ellen Buchanan. “Patrol officers are exposed to a lot of things they’d rather not be exposed to as it is, but with COVID among us, it’s more of an issue and a concern.”

Thursday’s approval included $233,000 for the addition of a changing room, locker facilities and a shower – the first shower at the police department’s two locations. The city will be reimbursed for the cost once a certificate of occupancy is issued.

Why does an agency intended to address “blight” think it’s justified to use public money for “health and safety” issues? Or a $46,000 dollar communication plan? Or any expenditure by MRA with public tax money that’s diverted from the general fund, making housing more and more unaffordable?

The answer: it doesn’t matter why, because what are you going to do about, Missoula?

If you’re a Missoulian reader, you probably don’t even know that a quarter million dollars in public money is going toward building showers in a facility that JUST GOT a 4.2 million retrofitting upgrade two years ago.

No, that’s not an important enough story to report on for Lee Enterprises. I guess their reporters were too busy with more important stories, like describing what artists are doing in the brand new multi-million dollar library that the public (who paid the bill) is NOT allowed in yet.

For our Mayor and his hand-picked sycophants at MRA, it’s nice this story seems to be flying under the radar, because then they won’t have to waste any more energy explaining their actions to the demographics targeted for placation last summer.

And, if those demographics get too uppity again with their demands, our illuminated brain trust can remind them of that $100,000 dollar “seed” investment to study them.

Also, it’s important to remember that if you don’t like what our illuminated brain trust is doing in our liberal utopia, you are always free to vote Republican.

Because DEMOCRACY!

The Pro-Mask Concern Troll And The Anti-Human, Technocratic Agenda

by Travis Mateer

The wearing of a mask is one of the most surreal aspects of this pandemic-trigger for technocratic control of human populations, and also one of the most brilliant.

It doesn’t matter that Fauci began this pandemic stating masks were not necessary. THAT was a benevolent lie because benevolent Fauci wanted to make sure frontline health care workers had enough PPE.

And it doesn’t matter that wearing a mask is about as effective at stopping tiny bits of virus as a chainlink fence is at stopping sand from passing through. Why should it matter? There’s a mandate, the experts say it’s necessary, and for many people, that’s all that’s needed for them to comply.

If someone exhibits wrong-think on this topic, like I did recently, then be prepared for someone like Pete Talbot to come along to say shit like this:

I didn’t respond to this concern-trolling comment immediately because it’s a trap.

Any response that isn’t me genuflecting to Pete’s tragedy will be seized upon as proof that I’m just an asshole trying to be edgy with my “ANTI-MASK and ANTI-HEALTH BOARD posts”.

When I did finally respond it was the “dudes-measuring-their-dicks” routine, but instead of an obvious stand-in for sad, little penises, like a truck or record collection or something, we’re using tragedies, and we’re using them like it’s a fucking poker game: I see your dead friend from Covid and raise you TWO dead homeless men.

Maybe I shouldn’t have said anything because THIS IS NOT some fucking game where the person who can out-tragedy the other person wins the sympathies of the audience. It’s much more serious than that, but people who don’t take matters of the spirit seriously don’t seem capable of seeing what’s happening.

What’s happening is a level of divide and conquer we have never seen before, and it’s coming from a deeply anti-human agenda, with new “woke spokes” spinning the same old tired wheels of social engineering and eugenics.

I wouldn’t normally link to a Huffington Post article, but the guest writer of this piece is a slinger of coffee in Montana, and her story is truly heartbreaking, regardless of what you think about masks. It’s heartbreaking because it’s a stark example of how humans are being turned against each other all across the country.

I strongly recommend reading the whole article, but here’s a taste of what I’m talking about:

As the months wore on, morale behind the counter fell palpably lower. We grew tense and quick to snap. Instead of my calmly explaining the mask policy each time, my fuse was instantly lit. A maskless customer would approach the counter and I’d thrust a mask at them before greeting them. I didn’t mean to. It just happened.

“You need to wear a mask in here,” I’d say, aware of my acidic tone but unable to soften it. If they as much as started to contradict me, I’d repeat what I said but louder. It was the opposite of my formerly friendly customer-service self. I wasn’t looking for a fight, but I felt like I was having a fight pushed at me every time someone continued to argue.

My understanding of our customers changed. Each time they walked in bare-faced despite our mask mandate signs, my heart sank. Some of the people I’d been friendly with for years seemed to hold no respect not only for our policies but for our health and safety behind the counter.

When I read this article I got angry, not at ANTI-MASKERS and MASK ENFORCERS, but at the sociopath architects of these micro-breakdowns in human connection.

But to point THAT out is enough to get me the conspiracy label, and thanks to the Q-ussurrection, that label is quickly morphing into DOMESTIC TERRORIST terrain, and will get a new round of Federal legislation in order to target this NEW THREAT from the Pappy of the Patriot Act, President Joe.

We live in strange, maddening times.

The good news is, as the anti-human agenda becomes more obvious, the steps we can take to resist will ALSO become more obvious.

A few months ago I was in Spokane at a thrift shop and, like I often do, I was taking the opportunity at the checkout counter to speak honestly with fellow humans about what we’re up against.

Both of my fellow humans were sympathetic to what I was saying, and the woman behind the plexiglass of our NEW NORMAL asked if she could give me a hug. I said YES and she came around the counter and gave me a hug. It was beautiful, and just what I needed.

Next week the podcast interview I’ll be posting is with Alison McDowell, an amazing woman who spent two hours with this newbie podcaster in conversation about one possible future for our Zoom Town and, really, the entire global population of humans now falling under the shadow of technocrats.

Alison understands, better than most, what we’re up against. Check out her blog Wrench in the Gears for more information on concepts like human impact markets and the gamification of debt, trauma and poverty.

And stay tuned here for more local scrutiny on how our illuminated braintrust is continuing to exploit this pandemic, like a quarter million dollars in TIF loot for cop showers.

That’s a quick turnaround from a braintrust that, just last summer, was busy performing their concern for the DEFUND THE POLICE movement.

So stay tuned…

Character Poem

by William Skink

Victor Scene is quite a man
bionic tongue and a chemical tan
tall and thin with piercing eyes
Victor sees the biggest prize

Marshall Claw was born for this
light the fuse then close the fist
whitey anti this and that
Marshall gets hard for collapse

Cooper Todd got his pics
Nancy's laptop got deep six'd
goddamn, maestro, what the hell?
Cooper's pooper is not your bell

Joe and Jane are not insane
or any other ethnic name
words are different for the crown

The Selective Scrutiny From The Missoula Current Undermines Its Claim To Be A “News Journal”

by Travis Mateer

In yesterday’s post I wrote about the curious omission by Martin Kidston and his online news rag, the Missoula Current, of any scrutiny directed at Missoula State Senator, Ellie Boldman (no longer) Smith, regarding her use of small business retention money for her law firm AND the Cannabis-related business, Willow Branch Science.

In today’s post I will AGAIN be writing about the reporting coming from the Missoula Current and I want readers to be thinking about yesterday’s post as we proceed.

The article we’ll be scrutinizing today is about a lawsuit filed on behalf of several businesses and an individual against the Missoula Health Board. Are politics involved? Yes, of course they are, and you get that clear impression from the title of the article, Businesses sue Missoula Health Board after Gianforte drops COVID restrictions. From the link:

Six businesses and organizations and one individual this week sued the Missoula City-County Board of Health and Health Officer Ellen Leahy, claiming the Board of Health violated their unalienable rights when it adopted additional rules on Dec. 17 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The lawsuit comes in the wake of Gov. Greg Gianforte on Friday repealing most of former Gov. Steve Bullock’s COVID-19 directives, specifically those limiting the hours of operation and number of people allowed in establishments such as bars and restaurants.

Gianforte’s order leaves it up to businesses to develop appropriate policies. However, local governments – counties, cities and reservations – can enforce stricter practices. Some have, including Gallatin, Missoula and Lewis and Clark counties.

This comes off as pretty straight reporting. Gianforte was elected Governor by a majority of voters in Montana, and that means some policies are going to change, just like at the Federal level where President Joe is busily EO’ing away any hint of Trump’s time in office. That’s politics.

But the Missoula County Health Department is supposed to be above politics, right? And their BIG CONCERN is for what the SCIENCE is telling them to do to keep people in Missoula safe, right?

Here is a portion of the statement released by the Health Department in response to this lawsuit, which it claims it has yet to receive as of Thursday (emphasis mine):

“The health officer and health board have worked diligently pursuant to (the law) to enact fair and reasonable restrictions to protect Missoula County from the spread of COVID-19. Sadly, we have lost 60 Missoula County residents from COVID-related deaths, which reflects the devastating impact of this virus on our community, and the continued need for public health measures aimed at curbing it,” the department statement said.

Let’s stop for a moment and ask ourselves whether or not a virus that you have a 99% chance of surviving if you’re under 70 actually constitutes a risk that warrants the drastic measures taken to limit the hours of operation for ONLY SOME BUSINESSES.

And let’s ALSO ask ourselves whether or not THE DEVASTATING IMPACT OF THIS VIRUS ON OUR COMMUNITY includes economic devastation and the subsequent impacts THAT will have on health and wellness, like exacerbating addiction and depression.

Or maybe I should tell my friend in recovery that the people he knows who have committed suicide during this pandemic don’t count unless we can label them a COVID-RELATED death.

The statement issued by the Health Department further explains that they don’t ENJOY enforcing policies that kill small businesses while conveniently allowing box to stores thrive:

“No one has enjoyed this aspect of the pandemic, including the health department, but it is the statutory duty of the health officer and health board to stop the spread of communicable disease, and it is a duty we take seriously in the face of a deadly pandemic.”

The Health Department clearly sees their role in all of this, as do the entities filing the lawsuit. And what is the role of the Missoula Current?

How about directing a level of scrutiny at those filing this lawsuit? The kind of scrutiny being carefully avoided when it comes to a State Senator named Ellie?

Later in the article, the hard-hitting reporting (using Facebook and Linked-In) discloses this stellar information:

Stand Up Montana is a new Bozeman-based nonprofit organization, founded in November by Cortney Brook Bent, according to a Secretary of State filing. The organization’s website says it was created “to support the civil action against Governor Bullock and the MT DPHHS to end all current COVID restrictions.”

The Stand Up Montana website also states, “What started as a small Facebook group quickly spiraled into large group of over 2500 members from around the state of Montana, but primarily focused in the Gallatin Valley. Join us in the fight against tyranny. Together we are standing up for Montana as Gallatin Unmasked.”

However, the court filing states Stand Up Montana has 400 members. The organization’s Facebook group started on Oct. 19 is private but states it has 282 followers. Gallatin Unmasked has 417 followers.

Is this group OVER-STATING their support? Gasp. Even more concerning, a church is involved:

Crosspoint Community Church on Mullan Road has attracted attention since October 2018 when pastor Bruce Speer posted campaign signs for candidates Matt Rosendale, Greg Gianforte, Brad Tschida, and Adam Hertz on the church grounds. To keep their nonprofit status, churches are required by the Internal Revenue Service to abstain from backing political candidates or initiatives.

Speer cited a 2017 executive order from former President Trump limiting action the Department of the Treasury could take against religious organizations.

“We are a church that has taken a position on what we believe is a key moral truth and that is pro-life,” Speer told KGVO radio in 2018. “We have allowed pro life candidates to put yard signs in our church property advertising their campaign.”

Can we tie any of these people to Qanon? I hope so, because then we can skip this pesky legal due process and send them straight to the reeducation camps.

If you’re not alarmed yet, there’s more to learn about these dangerous people who want to cavort in bars at 11pm without masks on, risking the death of EVERYONE YOU HAVE EVER CARED ABOUT!!! Like one of them is from California, and another one might be from Idaho:

Kingdon Enterprises operates coffee kiosks in Missoula. The owner, Warren Kingdon, moved to Lolo in 2018 and started the company after retiring as a pharmacist in Costa Mesa, Calif.

The lawsuit says Bronwen Llewellyn-Littlewolf resides in Missoula County. A web search comes up with a LinkedIn site that lists her home as Pocatello, Idaho, so she may also be a newcomer.

I think this “reporting” further exposes the political nature of the scrutiny coming from the Missoula Current, undermining the claim we are reading a report from a “news journal”. Instead, what it appears we are getting is a dispatch from Missoula’s version of MSNBC.

Science has nothing to do with any this. It’s all politics. And it stinks.
