This is the back of Dr. Surajit Khanna’s RETURNING YOUTH INITIATIVE in Hamilton, Montana, where I visited on Monday researching my article for Western Montana News. I assured Valli Anderson, who helps sell the idea that “returning youth” are being served by this program, that Montana is NOT a state that holds conmen accountable, so IF that accurately describes Dr. Surajit Khanna, then I don’t think he has anything to worry about.
The worst that might happen is I create a catchy tune about my Hamilton adventure. CHECK!
If you appreciate my work, please consider donating to Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF). And Mr. Batshit? Well, I have physical copies of a zine series I’m writing, a sort of synchronicity-driven true crime account of what I’m looking into in Zoom Town. The first issues is printed, the second one is complete, and I’m currently working on number 3, so stay tuned.
Starting at 6pm this evening our City Council will attempt to manage the community response to transforming parks into open-air drug markets for the “houseless” members of our community. One community member already has a long list of questions about this city policy of enabling drug abuse in public parks. Here are her questions:
While Missoula watches our elected leaders do dumb shit that will have predictably bad results, Montana’s Governor is making positive claims about his housing task force. Really, Greg?
“Your recommendations from this task force provided us a roadmap and working together with the legislature to implement many of those things at the 2023 session, leading to what many have called a very successful housing amendment,” began Gianforte. “One national publication called it the ‘Montana Miracle’, which you know, I think should all wear with pride, but there’s still more work to be done.”
What “national publications’ is Governor Gianforte referring to? Because if it’s THIS “article” from Americans for Prosperity, well, that’s a fucking joke then, right?
Here’s AFP detailing how they champion a “free market solution” for housing in Montana:
AFP’s Montana chapter was also frustrated with the obstacles in housing development and felt it was time for a change. Their team of experts, alongside their coalition partners, wasted no time launching an unstoppable campaign, canvassing neighborhoods across the state, driving petitions, delivering compelling testimonies, and initiating key conversations under the dome.
Their relentless efforts paid off. AFP forged trailblazing legislation, including SB 323, which legalized and reignited the building of duplexes statewide, and SB 528, that allowed for accessory dwelling units. AFP also pushed for laws requiring cities to plan their growth ahead of time, adopt zoning reforms, and streamline the permitting process.
AFP is about as successful with housing as the Montana Meth Project is at addressing meth abuse, which is why I assume this “non-profit” that employs the wife of our former Governor, Steve Bullock, is getting into the FENTANYL game. From the link:
The Montana Meth Project is shifting gears and is now working to educate teens on the dangers of fentanyl.
The Montana Meth Project has been around for 20 years and has been solely focused on battling meth addiction by educating high school-age students about the dangers of methamphetamine. But now that’s changing.
The use of fentanyl has been growing, so, the Montana Meth Project decided that they could no longer solely focus on meth and is now rolling out educational materials surrounding the dangers of fentanyl.
How many different ways can I say fuck this worthless organization? For context, here’s an article I wrote in December of 2021 about one of the youth this organization exploited. What parent would allow their kid to be used by this organization?
I’m sure your 12-19 year olds will be in good hands if you send them to this organization’s “teen council” for anti-Fentanyl work.
I’m beginning to think that Montana is the best state in the country to scam people and get away with it. If you don’t believe me, just wait until my article about Dr. Surajit Khanna comes out later today at Western Montana News.

The quick answer to the question posed in the title of this post, for your average Missoulian, is pretty simple: Missoula’s designation as a “tech hub” will NOT benefit you. In fact, the opposite will probably happen, especially as it relates to the cost of housing, and those championing this designation know this. That’s why it’s important for propaganda rags, like the Missoulian, to help out those who WILL directly benefit from this Federal designation. Here’s how our newspaper of record assists the important people of Zoom Town (emphasis mine):
The “tech hub” designation for Montana was made to help the United States develop “smart optical sensing technologies,” according to U.S. Sens. Steve Daines and Jon Tester, who both have touted the funding.
Bozeman and Montana State University will have to have a big role to play, because there are several photonics companies in that area. However, the tech hub will be led by Accelerate Montana, which is based on the University of Montana campus in Missoula.
O’Hair said he knows there’s an elephant in the room when anyone talks about bringing in more companies and more jobs to Montana. That would be the issue of housing, or the lack thereof.
“I know particularly in places like Missoula, it’s like, ‘Yeah well I’m not sure this is great news,'” O’Hair conceded. “10,000 new jobs and 1,000 new companies, is that really what we need at this time? But I will remind you and all of us, that this is exactly what we’ve been wanting for generations. How many times have we talked about the need to diversify Montana’s economy? How many times have we talked about the need to create different and new opportunities for our kids and grandkids to stay here?”
Who is O’Hair speaking for when he claims that tech jobs are EXACTLY what we’ve been wanting for generations? Maybe it would be helpful to get a little more context on who this Montana Chamber of Commerce guy is, like from this article when O’Hair was running for Secretary of State 20 years ago. From the link (emphasis mine):
The secretary of state oversees elections, maintains records of businesses and nonprofit organizations, and serves on the state Board of Land Commissioners and Board of Examiners, among other duties.
“My wife and I own a small business in Helena and we know how hard it is to keep a small business going in Montana,” said O’Hair, 37. “We need to find a way to streamline those processes.”
His wife, Melissa O’Hair, operates their catering business in Helena.
“I was born and raised on a cattle ranch and my family has been in the land-management business since 1878,” he added. “We understand about maximizing value of land while still protecting the environment.”
The job Todd O’Hair wanted is the job that would have some oversight with non-profits that come into our state claiming to help the poors, like the guy I’m profiling for Western Montana News this week, Dr. Surajit Khanna.
While it appears Montana is a state that offers a 12 month open-season for con artists to operate freely under our BIG SKY, Todd O’Hair wants you to think developing SMART OPTICS will be a good thing for Montanans. Why? Because jobs?

Cool, BOTH Republican and Democrat Senators think this is a great idea, so why worry? When has their ever been problems with technology being used by the psychopath class to manipulate and control large human populations?
It’s not ALL an impending technocratic dystopia because artists like myself DO enjoy the benefits of using technology, like I did with my phone the other day by recording this tune that rhymes FARTED with RETARDED.
If you appreciate my critical concern plus practical use of modern technology, then USE that technology by clicking Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF). Any little bit helps, like the $5 dollar donation I got a few days ago that will help fund my caffeine addiction.
What scapegoats are being used to deflect local anger away from the reality of a Democrat-led economic malaise? According to the Missoula Current’s reporting, Mayor Davis used “inflation and priorities” as the factors creating a “structural imbalance” compelling our elected officials to raise taxes. And, of course, the state of Montana is also partially blamed for the tax increase. From the link (emphasis mine):
Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis on Monday said “inflation and priorities” continue to outpace the city’s ability to generate new revenue, creating a structural imbalance that will require an ongoing evaluation of services and new revenue tools.
Others said the state’s tax system was fundamentally broken and has shifted the cost of essential services squarely onto property owners while industry and corporations enjoy deep tax cuts and the state overlooks other revenue sources, including Montana’s vast tourism industry.
The criticism of emergency mills and tax levies supposedly required to maintain emergency services and expand homeless programs don’t receive much attention from legacy media, but on social media it’s a different story. Here are some comments I ran across this morning that I think are worth sharing:
Yep, locals are aware of Tax Increment Financing and some of them don’t let our local officials get away with the condescending bullshit shoveled into their faces by Councilors like Gwen Jones. Anytime I see valid criticism of Tax Increment Financing I think about the documentary, Engen’s Missoula, that I helped make in order to elevate the TIF topic here in Zoom Town. Success!
While the new Missoulian editor, Skiggy, tells readers paying the subscription fee why local journalism is best when it’s a two-way street, other media outlets can’t seem to accurately report HOW MUCH the tax increase will be.
The new budget includes a 5.8% tax increase. When the fire levy is added, it brings this year’s city tax increase to more than 11% – not including any increases brought by the county, schools or the state.
Missoula City Council approved a new city budget for 2025 on Monday. The new budget will add a 16% increase in property taxes for Missoula residents.
“I want to say this budget focused on maintaining core services and community priorities,” Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis said.
Good job, local media! No wonder I rely on social media so much to ascertain what’s REALLY going on in this community.
If you appreciate MY contribution to the task of figuring out what’s really going on in this community, then please consider donating to Travis’ Impact Fund (TIF). Any little bit helps.
Have you ever had a bad day where nothing goes right, but then you see a homeless person and realize things could always be worse? Well, that’s just ONE way us homeless people help out you normies with your sheltered little lives: we instill the fear required to keep the rest of you in line so you don’t threaten the plans of the psychopath class.
The image above is Amanda Rabb, a drug-addicted homeless black woman who is now dead because the cute white chick who “helped” her actually just wanted to use this homeless woman to test VR technology on. This is a disgusting story, but one that echoes something I’m currently investigating and will be writing about later this week. Here’s a documentary that outlines the people involved in this disturbing exploitation of a drug addict.
The exploitation of Amanda Rabb couldn’t have occurred without the complicity of the criminal justice system. Once the system had its claws in her, the alternative of a conservatorship, presented by the cute white chick, Lima Jevremovic, probably seemed MUCH more preferable.
Homeless people make GREAT test subjects because they are usually estranged from family and off the radar. Also, if they start talking about what they’re experiencing, it will most likely just sound like crazy talk. Isn’t that convenient? Maybe that’s why a certain Detective likes to use homeless people as CIs (confidential informants).
This is a short post today, and I expect the rest of the week will have shorter posts than normal as well because I’m busy writing the follow up to a true crime zine I’ve developed. Here’s the inaugural copy, which I’m currently handing out to lucky people:
